The publication of the proceedings books has revealed of great interest, collecting in each edition innovators communications in the several areas.
The Scientific Committee analysis the relevance of the proposal investigation according to the double blind peer review, achieving the guarantee of the scientific valor of each communication.

In each edition, the best communication is distinguished with the "Prize Engr. Fernando Gonçalves Lavrador", aiming to stimulate the investigation in the covered area of the conference.

In 2012 edition, the bet is the continuity, the objective is to bring together for the third time in Avanca, the international community of researchers and academics and allow a deeper discussion and sharing.

Integrated in the "AVANCA – International Meeting of Cinema, TV, Video and Multimedia", this conference takes place during the festival, giving everyone a unique celebration of contemporary filmography.
